‘I’m here to win championships’: New men’s basketball coach Dana Ford introduced

Missouri State introduced its new men’s basketball coach Dana Ford Thursday morning after the Board of Governors unanimously approved Ford’s hiring Wednesday evening.

Ford joked during the press conference that this was the first unanimous vote he’s ever received.

Missouri State fired former head coach Paul Lusk after his seventh season with a 106-121 overall record and a 52-74 record in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Ford comes to Missouri State after spending four years as a head coach at Tennessee State with a 57-65 record, one season as an assistant coach at Wichita State from 2011-12, one season at Winthrop from 2006-07 and one season at Chipola College from 2008-09.
