The Missouri State Ice Bears were decked out in their pink and maroon uniforms as they took on the Saint Louis University Billikens for the second night in a row. But this game didn’t go as planned.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, the Ice Bears were unable to come out with the victory, falling to SLU 3-2.
The first period seemed evenly matched between the teams.
Until, an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty from SLU allowed Missouri State to go on the power play. Freshman forward Alex Rubin scored on the power play, giving the Ice Bears the 1-0 lead.
