Ice Bears dominate first home game of 2018

The crowd was booming at Mediacom Ice Park for the No. 18 Missouri State Ice Bears’ first home series of the new year. They took on the No. 36 University of Arizona Razorbacks, and the fans definitely didn’t leave disappointed.

The Ice Bears came out with a 6-2 win on Friday night.

Though, the first period started off slow — with very little action until sophomore forward Carson Wornig’s goal about 9 minutes into the game.

Just 39 seconds after Wornig’s goal, junior forward Travis Barrett gave the Ice Bears a 2-0 lead with a goal of his own.
