Tropical Storm Gordon weakened to a tropical depression Wednesday but still hit the Gulf Coast with heavy rains.
Gordon will continue to weaken but will cause a few storms to make their way into southwest Missouri over the next few days.

Missouri State already moved its home opener to Thursday at 11 a.m. in anticipation of heavy thunderstorms in the Springfield area during the afternoon and evening.
