ROGERSVILLE — One thing was apparent in Logan-Rogersville’s 45-15 win over Mount Vernon — senior quarterback J.J. O’Neal is that guy.
The game got off to a rough start for O’Neal. Despite popping off 20 plus yard rushes on Logan-Rogersville’s first two drives, he lost two fumbles.
“Foreal, I just had to calm down,” O’Neal said. “I had to act like it was a new game. I realized that I have to be myself and that’s when I play my best.”
O’Neal playing at his best is some of the best quarterback play in Southwest Missouri.
