The Hillcrest sideline and student section exploded with cheers after senior quarterback Mike Floyd pushed through a pile of Parkview defenders for the game-sealing first down.
This was no regular first down. Floyd’s rush gave Hillcrest its first win of the season.
“This will be one of those that you don't forget,” Hornets head coach Lee Coleman said. “We’ve got an 0-7 season and our eighth game is a one-point win. I’m tellin' you, they're gonna make a movie out of this if we can make that run.
