High school basketball: Here are the local teams who are still alive in the postseason

The Show-Me Showdown begins this upcoming weekend and southwest Missouri will be well-represented as local programs play for state titles.

Hartville pulled off the win of the year when it knocked off defending state-champion Greenwood in a 49-47 thriller on Saturday afternoon. Hartville will play in the state semifinals this week.

Dora will also return to the campus of Missouri State University to play for a Class 2 state title. MSU commit Isaac Haney scored 40 points to lead Dora to a 106-70 win over Delta in the state quarterfinals.

They might not be undefeated this season but the Strafford Lady Indians will appear in their fifth-consecutive state semifinal with the hopes of a five-peat if they win it all.
