Here's why Missouri State baseball's season ended in MVC Tournament loss to Evansville

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Missouri State baseball's season came to an end on Friday night after a four-game run in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.

Fourth-seeded Evansville advanced to the MVC Championship with an 11-3 win over Missouri State. The Bears lost all four games to the Purple Aces this season. Evansville will have to win two games over Indiana State on Saturday to win the tournament.

Bears head coach Keith Guttin, tied for the 12th-winningest coach in NCAA Division I history, led his team to a 33-23 record in his 41st season in charge.
