Wednesday marked the first day of the December early signing period across college football, and Missouri State head coach Bobby Petrino has a few players coming in who should make an immediate impact.
Probable additions range from some of the top prospects in southwest Missouri, a few Division-I transfers, junior college standouts and high school prospects.
Wednesday marked the beginning of Petrino's third signing class since taking over as Missouri State's head coach in January 2020.

Connor Lair, RB/LB, West Plains High
After initially committing to Southern Illinois, one of the top prospects in southwest Missouri flipped and will remain in the area.
