The Hornets are district champions for the first time since they finished as a state runner-up in 2015 by avenging a Jan. 4 loss to Parkview with a five-point win on Monday night when it mattered the most.
Cole Griesemer led Hillcrest with 17 points while rallying the Hornets in the second half.
