The Hartville basketball boys are state champions once again. The Eagles won the title in 2016 — a feat this group watched happen for their brothers while they were all still in junior high.
“Around my house, both my brothers got rings, but I didn’t have one — and I was running out of time,” senior Holton Simmons said with a laugh. “Mom and Dad said they were going to kick me out if I didn’t win one — and I wanted to get one real bad — and to go out with boys like this and God just bless our team all year.
