The top-ranked recruit in Springfield has been tabbed as one of the best players in the country heading into the 2019-20 season.
Greenwood junior small forward Aminu Mohammed was named to the USA Today's All-USA preseason boys basketball team.
Mohammed transferred to Greenwood before the 2018-19 season and immediately became one of the top players in the state.
He led Greenwood to its first state title in 71 years during his first season in Springfield. He averaged just over 34 points per game to go along with 17.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals.
In a 55-54 state championship win, Mohammed scored 24 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and had five blocks to help cap off a 29-3 state championship season.
