A graphic video making the rounds on Facebook on Friday shows several deer that were unable to escape from a circular wire feral hog trap in Reynolds County.
One deer tries to leap out of the cage, while two others lay injured on the ground. Those two eventually died.
A separate video shows one of the deer with deep abrasions on its chest and neck and injured eyes, likely from trying to escape the cage.
The News-Leader has been unable to confirm who took the video, but it was shared with the Missouri Department of Conservation.
