The team finished with a record of 6-4 and lost in the first round of the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference tournament to Robert Morris University-Illinois, in turn only losing three seniors.
But head coach Dustin Rich is optimistic about this season and has clear goals for his squad.
“We definitely want to set a specific goal of making the trip to Orange County for Nationals,” he said. “At the same time our real focus will be on getting better every day and focusing on the next game.”
This fall will be a set of exhibition games for the team to prep for the actual season in the spring.
