Glendale High School is typically known for its big numbers on offense but a junior pass-rusher is making the Falcons' defense a must-watch.
Junior outside linebacker Cooper Roy is now leading the nation in sacks, according to stats provided by MaxPreps.
The boost in Roy's numbers came courtesy of a record-breaking nine-sack performance against the Bolivar Liberators in the Falcons' 20-15 upset victory.
Roy now has 15 sacks on the season — which has accounted for a total loss of 79 yards. He had three sacks in a loss to West Plains and three in a win over Hillcrest.
