OZARK — Republic head coach Ryan Cornelsen took no time to thank his team for its ability to battle through adversity after Friday’s 48-28 victory on the road in Ozark (1-4).
“To come out and figure out ways to put points on the board and win the game was a step in the right direction,” Cornelsen said.
Cornelsen alluded to his team's inability to finish last week's game against Nixa. The Tigers had Nixa had its heels with a 10-0 halftime lead but were blanked in the second half and lost 21-10.
