With eight minutes left in a game between the Missouri State Lady Bears (5-9, 1-2) and the Wichita State Shockers (5-9, 0-3), the two Missouri Valley Conference rivals were tied at 47.
Until they weren't.
Following a 3-pointer by Wichita State’s Tamara Lee to tie the game at 47, the Lady Bears went on a 7-0 run that turned into a 16-4 run that turned into a 73-62 victory for the Lady Bears over the Shockers.
“I am really proud of our team, we did some really good things tonight and played extremely hard,” Lady Bears head coach Kellie Harper said.
