Former Valparaiso star Donovan Clay announced on Instagram that he is transferring to Missouri State.
The former Valpo star is coming off his sophomore year with the Brown and Gold. He's a 6-foot-7 guard/forward who was selected to the Missouri Valley Conference's All-Freshman team in 2019-20.
Clay played 911 minutes this past season at Valpo — the most out of any player in the MVC. He blocked 35 shots and grabbed 5.5 rebounds per game. He also snatched away 21 steals. He shot 39.1 percent and was 20.4 percent on 98 shots from beyond the arc.
