Former Missouri State star Luke Voit made a name for himself in Springfield and is doing the same in New York as a member of the Yankees.
And apparently, it's catching on among baseball fans everywhere.
Voit is the leading vote-getter for the 2019 All-Star game for all first basemen in the American League according to a release by the MLB on Monday.

The new voting format for MLB All-Star Game created a primary round that continues through the afternoon of June 21.
