Kat Ratcliff was once a Bear. Now she's a ninja.
The former Missouri State softball player — who went by Katrina Kurz — appeared on July 23's episode of American Ninja Warrior.
The episode featured Ratcliff's backstory with her parents dying while she was young and how she was adopted and later became a police officer in Austin, Texas.
The commentators on the show said she is an Army veteran and served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
