Another pitcher from the Paul Evans pitching factory at Missouri State is headed to the big leagues.
Dylan Coleman has been called up by the Kansas City Royals and is on the team's roster entering its series in Cleveland.
The hard-throwing righty from Potosi was a fourth-round pick by the San Diego Padres in the 2018 draft. Coleman played a key role on Missouri State's 2017 and 2018 NCAA Tournament teams. The 2017 season saw the Bears win the Fayetteville Regional and reach the Fort Worth Super Regional.
In his junior, and final, season with the Bears, he went 10-2 and finished 14th in the nation with 129 strikeouts.
