Former Kickapoo standout Trevon Brazile is transferring from Mizzou to Arkansas

Trevon Brazile will remain in the SEC and is headed south after a year at Mizzou.

The former Kickapoo and Parkview standout tweeted on Wednesday evening that he has committed to Arkansas.

Brazile entered the transfer portal after Mizzou's dismissal of head coach Cuonzo Martin. He is a 6-foot 9 forward who started 23 of 25 appearances for the Tigers this past season. He averaged 6.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.

247Sports recruiting reporter Eric Bossi wrote that Brazile had also been in contact with Illinois and Kentucky. He noted that Brazile was one of the better players in the transfer portal and that NBA scouts called his stats from his freshman year "just the tip of the iceberg.
