Former Cowboys QB Tony Romo drops out of Price Cutter Charity Championship due to injury

At first, the Price Cutter Charity Championship was supposed to be the first Korn Ferry Tour event to have spectators, but that didn't happen because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

At least it was going to have Tony Romo participate in it, right?

Well, not anymore.

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current CBS NFL color commentator dropped out of the event after completing several holes at Highland Springs Country Club.

The Korn Ferry Tour tweeted Romo withdrew after playing four holes due to a wrist injury. Romo had a lingering wrist injury coming into the event which caused him to skip Wednesday's Pro-Am.
