One of the top local baseball prospects in recent seasons is transferring home.
Former Springfield Catholic baseball star Will Duff is transferring to Missouri State after two years at Vanderbilt, he announced on Twitter on Thursday.
Duff is coming off a sophomore season at Vandy — which ended its season as the runner-up in the College World Series. He went 2-for-7 for the Commodores this past season.

In a COVID-19-shortened 2020 season, Duff appeared in 10 games and made a pair of starts.
