STRAFFORD — When Hayley and Kayley Frank were just old enough to walk, their dad — Steve Frank — hung an old basketball rim on their basement wall about 4 feet high.
It was in that basement where the Frank twins started playing basketball together.
The two taped a free throw and a 3-point line to the carpet. They had many games of one-on-one and would have trophy presentations at the end.
As they got bigger, dad continued to raise the rim. He coached for every team they played on.
Fast forward to 2019, and the three are in their last week of being on the same team.
