For the second straight game, the Missouri State football team hung tough with a highly-ranked opponent for the first 30 minutes of play, only to get dominated in the second half, as the Bears dropped to 1-4 on the year after a 38-11 beatdown at the hands of the North Dakota State Bison.
Despite the final score, the Bears played well in the first half and only trailed the No. 2 ranked Bison 17-5 at the half.
NDSU started the game strong, using an 8-play, 90-yard drive to take an early 7-0 lead.
But, on the very next drive, sophomore quarterback Peyton Huslig led the Bears on an impressive drive, spanning over five minutes.
