The last Missouri Basketball Coaches Association poll of a season typically follows the results of the state championship games played in Columbia at the Show Me Showdown, and that line of thought played out for the four state champion teams from southwest Missouri.
In girls basketball, Class 5 champion Kickapoo, Class 3 champion Strafford, and Class 2 champion Crane all end the season with the No. 1 ranking in the state poll.
