The Missouri State University field hockey team (2-11) lost 3-1 to Davidson University (6-12) in their final home game of the season.
The Bears had a slow start on offensive, with only four shots and two penalty corners during the entire first half.
Despite 18 shots from Davidson, the Bears were able to keep the game close during the first half. The first goal of the game would come at 31 minutes when Davidson forward Katherine English scored off a corner play to give the Wildcats a 1-0 advantage. The Wildcats had 10 penalty corners during the first half of the game.
