The stands will be mostly purple this weekend for the Fort Worth Super Regional between Missouri State and Texas Christian, but a vocal group of Bears fans made the trip to Texas.
Mark West, a Bears season ticket holder, came from Ozark to attend this weekend's series.
He said he's been a Missouri State fan since 1999, when Matt Cepicky hit a clutch home run against Arkansas in the regional tournament.
West said he's optimistic about this weekend's series.
"I think the Bears will play right with them," West said. "If they could beat Arkansas, I think they can probably beat just about anybody.
