After starting the season 6-0 at home, the Missouri State men’s basketball team has lost two straight in JQH Arena.
The Bears took the Evansville Purple Aces down to the wire but the Aces slipped away to win 70-64.
The first half started slow for both teams. Organized play calls controlled the game while Evansville took an 8-4 lead.
Head coach Dana Ford sparked something in the Bears during the media timeout, and they came out guns blazing. The pace of the game increased and continued to through the rest of the game.
The next six minutes followed with four lead changes and two ties.
