Foul trouble, turnovers and no Dorrian Williams all contributed to a rough trip to Indiana on Saturday for the Missouri State men’s basketball team.
Evansville took advantage of 15 Missouri State turnovers and made 27 of 31 free throws in an 83-64 victory at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Purple Aces, keeping them in a tie for second place in the Missouri Valley Conference. It also stopped Missouri State’s two-game winning streak.
The Bears were without Williams, the senior starting guard who injured his knee on Tuesday night against Bradley.
