One of the great college basketball players in the history of the area will add a Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year award to her already impressive resume.
Drury senior Hailey Diestelkamp was announced as the GLVC women's basketball Player of the Year on Wednesday in addition to being selected to the All-GLVC First Team unanimously.
She becomes the second Lady Panther to earn the GLVC's top honor. The other? Molly Miller in 2007-08.
Diestelkamp just led the Lady Panthers to their second consecutive undefeated regular season. She averaged 21.
