Former Drury and Missouri State head women's basketball coach Nyla Milleson was announced Monday as Drury University's next athletics director.
Milleson, who helped build the Drury women's basketball program in the 1999-00 school year and served as its head coach for seven seasons, will replace Corey Bray who will leave Drury to become the Director of Athletics at Oklahoma City University. Bray replaced Mark Fisher following the 2018-19 academic year.
At Drury, Milleson is an athletics hall of fame member after leading her teams to a combined 185-36 record. Five of her seven Lady Panthers teams qualified for the NCAA-II Tournament.
