Steve Hesser tied the Drury University record for coaching victories on Saturday afternoon.
But, he shook off any questions about that 316th milestone win.
What mattered to him was the team bonding that the surging Panthers displayed in defeating Missouri-St. Louis 84-68.
The Panthers rose to 14-10 with their fifth straight victory before a season-large crowd of 2,829 at O’Reilly Family Event Center.
The Tritons entered with a six-game win streak and an 18-4 record.
