There is a white board in the Missouri State women’s basketball locker room that is constantly updated with the standings in the Missouri Valley Conference.
It gives a one-glance look at where the Lady Bears stand in relation to the rest of the conference, and where they want to be.
“Really, they’re aware without me putting it on the board,” Lady Bears coach Kellie Harper said, “but I like the visual so that they know there’s a big picture here, and we’re trying to win games.”
The Lady Bears are comfortably in the top three in the league, with a 9-3 record.
