Defense awakens in Bears blowout win

Over the first two games of the season, the Missouri State offense hasn’t been the problem.

The Bears scored 90 or more points in the first two games of the season but the defense hadn’t lived up to head coach Paul Lusk’s expectations.

Thursday night, they did. And the offense wasn’t that bad either.

The Missouri State Bears men’s basketball team is now 3-0 on the season for the first time since the 2013-14 season after a 100-27 win over Division III Fontbonne.

This is the first Missouri State men’s hoops team to score 90 points or more in three straight games since 2005-06.
