Missouri State is sticking with Stec.
The university announced it is bringing back Dave Steckel for his sixth season as the football program's head football coach.
The announcement came on the Wednesday following the conclusion of a 1-10 season.
"As is always part of our process after each season, I met with Stec late Tuesday to discuss the future of our program," MSU Athletics Director Kyle Moats said in a press release. "At that time, he presented his plan for next season and beyond, which I shared with President Clif Smart.
