Former colleagues, fellow coaches and friends describe Dana Ford as a hard worker, who is liked by his players and contributes to the community in which he lives.
Ford was introduced Thursday as Missouri State's new head basketball coach after four years at Tennessee State.
Ford knows how to get his team ready for a game, Texas head coach Shaka Smart recently told the News-Leader.
"He really has his guys prepared," Smart said.
