Dana Ford didn't expect to be playing for a championship on the last day of the season

If you would have told new Bears head coach Dana Ford before the season that his team would be playing for a championship on the final day of the season, he said he probably wouldn't have believed you.

Now the first year head coach finds himself in a position where if the Bears win on Saturday and they get a little help later in the night, his team will be Missouri Valley Conference co-champions.

"It's a big deal," Ford said. "Hopefully things work out; we'll see."
