After an offseason of hype and high-expectations around the Missouri State men's basketball program, Tuesday night's loss to Little Rock couldn't be seen as anything but a disappointment.
And Missouri State head coach Dana Ford knows it.
Missouri State — a double-digit-point favorite to beat Little Rock going into the night — didn't show up defensively and allowed a go-ahead bucket with four seconds remaining to fall 67-66.
"We need to look ourselves in the mirror, especially as coaches, and put a better product out on the floor," second-year head coach Dana Ford said. "I think that will be a good place to start in terms of trying to get the result in terms of what we're trying to get.
