KOLR10 sports director Dan Lucy reported Tuesday afternoon that 15 individuals will be named to the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
The list of notable names he reported included former Chiefs running back Mike Garrett, former Cardinals pitcher Lee Smith and Missouri State softball coach Holly Hesse, among others.
One notable name he excluded? Himself.
Fellow KOLR10 sports reporter Megan Rice made sure his recognition didn't go unnoticed.
Rice also tweeted Lucy will be inducted into the hall on Jan. 28.
Tuesday marks Lucy's 29th anniversary of working at KOLR10.
Lucy has been a part of Missouri State's TV broadcast crew and has also hosted MSU football and basketball shows and has been a correspondent for the Missouri Valley Conference.
