Cuonzo Martin, Missouri basketball embracing Indianapolis bubble ahead of NCAA Tournament

From inside the NCAA Tournament bubble in Indianapolis, Missouri coach Cuonzo Martin found himself singing to reporters during a Zoom call Wednesday.

The song? "One Shining Moment," originally recorded by David Barrett in the 1980s. The tune is strongly associated with March Madness, as it's traditionally played as the music with the end-of-tournament montage.

Martin spoke the first four words of the song — "The ball is tipped" — before breaking out his inner Luther Vandross for the rest of the first line.

"And there you are," Martin sung to his virtual audience before again speaking: "I'll give you the rest of it later.
