Hunter Steinmetz had a lot of time to think when he was sent home from spring training.
Steinmetz had a 16-and-a-half hour drive from his hotel in Dunedin, Florida, to his apartment in Springfield, but he said it felt even longer.
On the drive home, Steinmetz thought about baseball. The former Missouri State and Parkview High outfielder had been waiting for the spring ever since the end of last season.
