Coronavirus fallout: What the NCAA eligibility ruling means for Missouri State baseball

Keith Guttin thought his team would be practicing in the indoor facility when he walked through the locker room after the Bears' weekend series in California was canceled.

The coronavirus pandemic put an end to the Bears' trip to out west to play UC Irvine. Guttin was not going to travel to California due to a doctor's preexisting medical condition. Doctors advised him not to because of that state's outbreak.

Guttin was going to meet his team in the indoor practice facility, but he instead found all of his players sitting in the locker room staring at their phones in silence.
