Eight innings, 13 strikeouts, two hits, three walks and no earned runs. That’s a stat line you usually see with a W behind it. Unfortunately, as Coleman sat down Central Arkansas, Missouri State also failed to get its bats going.
Coleman’s performance doesn’t stop at the stat sheet however. Coleman worked back from multiple 2-0, 3-0 and 3-1 counts today to either strikeout his batter or force an out in the field.
