BOLIVAR — A year after losing a double-overtime heartbreaker to Bolivar to end its season, Catholic found itself in the same matchup with its season on the line.
This time, it was different.
Big offensive contributions from seniors Zach Howell and Liam O’Reilly helped lift the Irish over Bolivar 53-47 in the Class 5 quarterfinal round.
“We’ve been working for it for a long time,” O’Reilly said. “We went my freshman year but it's good to get back.
