It appears the anticipated Springfield appearance from Waino will now take place on Wednesday, according to a report.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch Cardinals beat reporter Derrick Goold tweeted on Monday morning that Adam Wainwright said that his appearance in Springfield will take place on Wednesday at 12:05 p.m.
After Wainwright told reporters on Friday that the rehab appearance would take place on Tuesday, Goold said that the one-day delay will allow Wainwright to increase his pitch count from his bullpen session.
Wainwright's appearance in Springfield has yet to be announced by the Cardinals as of Monday morning.
