Fresh off an appearance at the MLB Futures Game in San Diego, Cardinals farmhand catcher Carson Kelly is on the move.
The 21-year-old Kelly was promoted from Springfield to Triple-A Memphis on Monday, part of a flurry of moves that impacted the Double-A roster.
Kelly was ranked as the No. 10 prospect in the Cardinals’ system by Baseball America coming into the system, after he won a minor league Gold Glove award for his work in High-A Palm Beach last season.
