DeRossett captured 50.04 percent of the votes a head-to-head contest with Analyss Benally of Wichita Heights (Kansas) to advance to the next round of a 3-point shooting contest that could land DeRossett in Houston, Texas during the NCAA Final Four.
Rossett is one of 16 contestants in an Internet competition to appear in the girls 3-point shooting contest at the American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk and 3-point Championships. The winner of the bracket earns the title of being an American Family Insurance “Fearless Dreamer.
