BOLIVAR — The Kickapoo Lady Chiefs are back in the Class 6 final four.
A 64-51 win over Truman on Saturday night has Kickapoo in its third state semifinal in the last five years.
“Our group last year was great and our group this year is just as good, if not better,” senior forward Bella Fontleroy said. “It means so much to be able to go back.”
Kickapoo was dominant in the beginning. The defense stifled nearly every Truman attempt and the offense scored in bunches and made it look easy, especially from beyond the arc.
